Tolulola Taiwo-Hanna is a doctoral student and research coordinator at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. Tolu’s research interests include social work practice with diverse populations, racism and racial microaggressions in human service organizations, trauma and mental health, racial trauma, organizational development, and social work leadership. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from the University of Toronto with a concentration in Human Service Management and Leadership. Tolu also attended the University of Windsor where she completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Work and a minor in Psychology. Since completing her MSW, Tolu has been working as a social worker at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Acute Care Program. She works with an interdisciplinary team to treat clients through a biopsychosocial model, using a trauma-focused and dialectical behaviour therapy-based approach. Starting this fall, Tolu will be a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto.
