Anaïs Ouedraogo

Anaïs Ouedraogo is a health systems strategist and equity-focused consultant completing a Master of Health Science in Health Administration (MHSc) at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation, with a Collaborative Specialization in Global Health. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Health and Cognitive Science (computational cognition) from the University of Toronto.

Anaïs works at the intersection of health policy, strategy, and equity, supporting hospitals, non-profits, and health sector partners through strategic planning, quality improvement, and stakeholder engagement – especially in primary care and health equity. Her experience spans consulting, municipal government, and academic research, including roles with Santis Health, Deloitte’s Strategic Cohorts team, Eli Lilly’s patient support programs, and the City of Toronto.

Over the past four years, Anaïs has contributed to research at the BHEL Lab, including the AYA Circle of Care HIV project and the Safe Hands Safe Hearts COVID-19 intervention, alongside other culturally responsive initiatives for Black communities. She also supports global health system reform through the Dalla Lana Junior Faculty Development program’s work in Kenya. Anaïs is active in leadership and community-building as President of the University of Toronto’s Black Graduate Students’ Association and a member of the CAMH National Youth Advisory Council.

Across her work, Anaïs brings systems thinking grounded in lived experience and meaningful collaboration. She is committed to designing sustainable, equity-driven solutions that improve how people access, experience, and trust health systems – locally and globally.
